what an ugly photo. but anyway, its the tart i made! it tastes somewhat like the one from fruits paradise but with like 1/5 the amount of whipped cream. (which i don't like)

as usual, i am shocked by my lack of incentive to post! but everytime i look at nuffnang and my miserable 80 cents i think that i MUST do something to earn more cents. but obviously, i don't.

i don't know why i'm so obsessed with the cents i collect on nuffnang. maybe its because its the only form of income i'm receiving (other than pocket money), even though i (usually) don't care if something is 80c more or 80c less. unless its like if a fishball was 90c vs 10c then yes i'd care very much.

MID YEARS ARE OVER! you know i'm secretly (okay not really) very proud that i managed to complete 3 essays for lit in 3 hours! hah! and i had 15 mins extra :D (maybe thats a bad thing, but well!). i know like more than a hundred other people did it, but WHEEEEEEE :D
it is such a nice feeeeeeling.

i strongly agree with the article in the sunday times that singapore dramas stink. okay fine they didnt say "stink" but anyway, they STINK. they are so baddddd that i must make it a point to say that they are really bad. those on channel 8 i mean. thank god for cable! and those korean/hk dramas on channel u.

ps. the magicians by lev grossman is really good :D i wish we could do it for lit instead of like disgrace. which i still don't like. maybe im just too insensitive a reader ;)

I hate feeling like i don't know what i want to be.
I have never felt like i had no idea what I wanted to be.
it is a freaking crisis worse than the credit crunch if i may say.

My handmade bow headbands!

I like to make my own headbands because its so fun, and I can fashion them in a manner that I most prefer :D
This ribbon is really luxurious! I dug it out from somewhere, it was used to tie the box that held the stuffed dog that my aunt gave me for my strings concert last year. Thank god I kept the ribbon! it's really nice ribbon. Otherwise, you can just get ribbon from scrapbook stores like Laine's at wheelock, but cos theyre for scrapbooks theyre really not half as nice.

Step 1: Make the bow! i was way too lazy to photograph the process of making the bow and sewing it up, but anyway....

and TADAAAA ITS DONE! maybe you'll see me wearing it in school (:
but it stands out a little too much cos of the colour and the size of the bow, so I havent worn it to school yet, and maybe wont ever. But i'm wearing it out tomorrow! it matches my dark blue knitted top with the ribbon pattern on it from river island. lalala~

the wine red one i wear is handmade too! I made one for Sadie so we have matching hairbands! but the black one is from diva. just a side note, I think white bow headbands on black hair looks really bad. It'll look really nice on blond hair, but on black, it just looks SO STRANGE! especially with the VJ school uniform. eurgh.

angry part of my happy post:
there's jap class tml. last week, this stupid fat bitch (and it was only her first lesson with us while we've mostly been there for more than 6 months) kept being mean and arguing with me that my definition of "fruits are what contain the seeds of the plant, and vegetables refer to the rest of the plant like the leaves, so a chilli is a fruit and so is a cucumber" was WRONG. its right okay.
the freaking pig kept insisting that I was wrong and trying to embarass me in front of the whole jap class when SHE'S WRONG! HELLO JUST GOOGLE IT?!?!?!?!??!??!?!!??!! i wouldnt mind if she was nice and told me her definition or said what she had to say nicely, she was being awfully rude about it and her tone was terrible.
i told her that it was in my PRIMARY SCHOOL science textbook and she still held firm to her ridiculous position.
she is a very rude ignorant turd. and i cannot believe that the rest of my jap class, all of them being adults, and nobody stood for my position, everyone was either all blur or thinking that eggplants were freaking vegetables so I was wrong. HELLO!?!?!?!?!?? ITS A FRUIT.
AND SHE KEPT FINGERING THE ENDS OF HER HAIR! STOP IT! it was so distracting.

nearly everything in the MAC hello kitty range is sold out already!
i don't use pressed powder or blusher (which were about the only things left! ALL the lipstick colours and lipglosses at tangs and taka were sold out! only isetan had some miserable colours left)
i wanted the Cute-ster (a pretty light shimmery pink) but it was sold out at every outlet.
we saw a man at isetan scotts with a BIG kitty balloon and he said he got it at tangs so mom and i rushed over.
and they have the kitty kouture range at the MAC counter there!

they were all sold out but i managed to order the lip glass :D
it has a pretty chain with a bling kitty!

i miss being a convent girl!

im using my antique nokia flipphone now so i can't use smiley faces in smses :( i have to do them manually!
my sim card got spoilt last week for no reason; and i thought it was my phone.
so now i've lost ALLLL my messages that ive been saving since primary 4, those sentimental ones!
T_T im a bit sad, but i guess i have to let go of them sooner or later! its a SIGN ;)
ahhahah. anyway, because of that incident, im back to my old nokia flip phone cos i still like it better than my stupid sonyerricson cybershot thing which is so old as well.
anyway, the whole point is that i cant use smileys anymore o_o for a while at least

friday after school was real great cos i met yim and vicjiejie for slumdog millionaire and ice cream!
(and dinner)
my mom fetched me and yim from school so that was good :D
the movie was tres funny! but really sad too. anyway, we had the ice cream i was dying to eat. i shall post pictures of it in my next post (whenever THAT is...)
its from japan, supposed to be french-style or something. but it was good! but too overpriced i think. it was a REALLY TINY cup, like super little bit of ice cream for $6 a cup.
with no place to sit, so we went to starbucks and had camomile tea.

anyway, school's been quite good!

im really super lucky! i just wish at least one of the squirrels took KI!

celebrated my uncle's birthday yesterday and it was so fun!
managed to spot nic's house from china club cos we were on the 52nd floor. could see like everything.

went to bugis and after walking a big fat round we decided to eat... KFC.
HAHA.
ridiculous. its the first ever time LSK has eaten KFC together right?
hahahaha. it seems almost funny. so un-LSK.
then we took neoprints cos it's an LSK thing.
and we trotted off to haji lane!
everything was closed cos it was wayyy to early.
so we sat down and had uber tasty ice cream...
and LOOKIES!
on the mirror opposite where we were sitting

i'm in this competition with the two of them :D
(actually i insisted we compete in this thing)
but we're not very active.
and then it brought on an onslaught of pam's complaints about not getting to wear her heels when out with me and hil cos we were both too short.

i'm amazed.
i thought the holidays would stretch on for eternity but unfortunately school is recommencing.
i kinda wanna go back but i kinda don't.

She was a christmas present from Choo2yee2 and auntie elisa.
i really really really really love her!
blythes are so pretty (des: they do not by any means look like chucky!)

anywayyyyy christmas lunch this year was at nic's place instead.
it was lotsalotsalotsa fun! we played guitar hero for hours.
my favourite is playing lead guitar haahhahahahah~

i have terrible coordination so i had so much difficulty with the drums yim had to step on the foot peddle thing for me.

joonyee got me a beauty overnight set from burt's bees O_O
its really nice and comes with this supercute yellow pouch :D

oh i sewed a pretty pair of pants for Sadie for christmas, she came for lunch too.
so i shall post more pictures of her soon.
oooh and i sewed her a big red bow too.
was thinking of selling them since official blythe outfits cost so much.

been shopping everday these past few days so i'm feeling really cheerful and healthy :D
it was one day vivo and two days orchard!

it's about time i post about the outing with boob and yiling!
which was like last weds o_o
oops.

we watched twilight which was disappointing beyond verbal/written description.
but i'm really glad i actually watched it - save myself the unnecessary regret of thinking i missed the greatest flick of all time, or so it seems after you read what the crazy fanatics featured in the straits times today said about it. what with them having watched it more than 10 times. and here i was thinking that i was a spendthrift o_o

noteworthy points:
jacob looks like pochahantus, (ie. red indian, wrong era!!! )
edward is toooooo hairy! since when were vampires hairy? o_O?!
but his acting is quite fine and he has a very nice smile when his eyes are hidden behind sunnies.
and he looks rather fancy in a tuxedo.
bella looks tough enough to fend for herself and she keeeeps doing that annoying blinking thing that gets on your nerves.
carlisle is just freaky looking. he's a vampire but he's actually supposed to look human isn't he? or if he looked superhuman he's supposed to look superhuman-ly good looking. not like an anaemic.
and james was supposed to be handsome though he's the villain.
(some weird girls sitting behind us actually said "james is so hot!" and they kept squealing on and on about robert pattison. james has matted long hair and ugly eyes for pete's sake! grossss)

but anywayyyyy~ the day out with the girls was lovely (:
ate at pasta mania for lunch which was quite yummilicious cos i haven't eaten there in forever.
still can't believe pasta that cheap can actually taste good!
we took NEOPRINTS :D:D:D i'm still such a neoprint junkie
yuehuan bought four pairs of earrings and i spent alot on christmas presents. in a fit i said "i hate christmas" (when of course i dont!) and boob said i sounded like the grinch.
then after the movie we went back to pasta mania for the apple crumble pizza we were eyeing earlier. oh gosh it was indeed delicious.
i think pasta mania is the only cheap food which taste good.
(other than fastfood)

its been a week?!

its been a busybusybusy-bee week!

starting with last wednesday when i went out with gloglogloria~!
and we watched BOLT! which was quite touching for a cartoon.
it was nice, but i felt it got a BIT boring at parts. i'd give it 3.5/5 popcorns.
its the kind of disney pixar movie that's really quite nice but somehow's still overrated.
like ratatouille. or so i felt. i didnt like ratatouille quite as much as i liked bolt though.
maybe its cos i have a dog.

speaking of which my little Harry is sniffing about the house very suspiciously.
(like he's looking for a spot to pee on)
i have to keep an eye on him now.

then she came to my house and we spied on this really awful brat who's honestly quite hideous ,with a "minefield" as me and des like to call it, right smack on her forehead. she thinks she's oh so beautiful and better and smarter than everyone else. if anyone "cyber-bullied" her by posting nasty comments to her, i really think it should be condoned. tsktsk. better show her blog to dessiewessie. its hilarious !
anywayyyyy i loved seeing glo again. wanna go out more soon! i miss her monicajie and her erjie and her mom cos they're lovely~~~

then thurs was outing with shermy worm! i showed her the blog of that notorious person and we laughed and spied via our itouches on wireless!!! ( yay we both have itouches which is lovelylovelylovely!) had lotsa fun eating eating eating till we were so bloated and walking all over the place till we were tired but still bloated from lunch at soupspoon and icecreams and brownies from taka's basement.

stayed over at yim's place and it was tres fun~! cos we spammed neopets and advent calendar and KEYQUEST OMGOMGOMG WE GOT A SPECKLED PAINTBRUSH AAAAAANNNNNDD A SWIRLY NEGGG AND A LENNY TCG! which we sold (in total) for about 250 000 np?!
totally crazy right. the TCG was from a random scorchio who was walking about. i think its cos we donated lots of stuff to the money tree so we got good karma.

monday was spent OUT WITH D,D! ahha at first it was so boringgggggggggg cos we had nothing to do but the second half was super fun.
(so sad K couldn't come) i had my toffee nut frapp which i last drank in dec2007 cos its limited and i loooovee toffee nut!!! and we played really fun hopping games and i WON DARREN AT THE SCISSORS PAPER STONE ONE~!!! yayyums. you can see the ridiculous pics at Des' blog.

LUSHIKOH OUTING WAS THE BEST!

I loveeeeeee hilly and pammmmmmm!
ohmygod i havent laughed so much in a really long time. like alot of laughter in a short span of time so its like concentrated. lots of laughs/ min :D burnt lots of calories laughing at stupid jokes.
like when i heard wrongly and thought i heard Hil call someone Mantis and our debate about whether Mantis could be someone's name and hil's joke "If one day Mantis becomes really religious, he'll be... PRAYING MANTIS!" and i laughed like crazy and pam thought it was so lame.

Hil said something really hilarious so i asked her to remember what she said so i could quote her (you see what i mean hil?! ive forgotten what it was!)
and she said "oh, i don't think i can. i mean, i say so many witty things."
anyway, pam keeps saying "hilarious", and im not sure if she notices it, but anyway, now im hooked on the word hilarious.

for the first time in four years we didnt take neoprints on an outing.
but it wouldnt be a LSK outing without a tradition so we went to MOSburger and ate Ichigo bliss and chatted and stuff. and i braided pam's hair while we were chattering non-stop. but cos i was across her i could only braid the front bits of her hair and it STAYED without my using any rubber bands. she looked like a red indian.

pam keeps thinking she knows what my "type" is like.
speaking of which. SHES CRAZY.
she says hi to random kids. her brother works at a store in wheelock so we went to ask him to help us take a polaroid and this little girl walked past and pam said "hi!" to her, so me and hil thought she knew the girl. so i happily said "hi!" too and the girl just ignored us.
and you know what? SHE DOESN'T KNOW THE GIRL.
omg me and hil were like O_O.
pam is traditionally late so we didnt have that much time together. HIL bought her milk and lemon bread from taka again. i dont know why she loves those breads so much. ITS BREAD. i dont really fancy bread alot.
hil went home for dinner so it was just me and pam for dinner. gave her a hug twice before she left cos i couldn't bear to see her go lol.
we were at scotts, and pam had a sudden craving for kobayashi's curry rice so we walked alllll the way back to cine.

over dinner we talked about all kindsa stuff. and we both:
"OMG, I HATE ZINC!"
and "I HATE MYUK!"
we really hate those "stupid prints"
:D i've really missed talking to pam so much.
we both don't do chic lit anymore though we used to like it.
for want of a better read.
and we adore Blair and think Serena is "not really pretty. just has a hot bod and those nice legs"
i think she's a Brown kinda person but she thinks shes a Dartmouth kinda person.
Brown seems like so much more fun. anywayyyyyy i hope we go to college together :D everyday will be so fun. Hil's like the genius amongst us but she wants to stay in Singapore cos she cant bear to part with her family. so sad.
she bought me a really cute colourful pair of paulfrank flipflops for my birthday! YAY! haha.
and i gave her and hil their really belated bday gifts too :D

AND OMG. HIL LOVES MINI FOOD TOO! we were both admiring them like crazy.
though hil spends most of her time admiring mini bread figures. i bought two sets of Minnie Mouse cake shop :D ! the cupcake tree one and the cherry pie one :D lalala~

since my p5 days, i've lost count of how many times i've moved.

This skin looks incredibly plain but it took me a good long 2 hours to complete.
My html skills are all rusty. BUT AT LEAST I DID IT MYSELF!
I think its quite fancy.
